Home Alone!
Let me introduce myself. My name is Sparky. I am a purebread Noodle (or Newdle?). Mom was a serious standard poodle show dog. Dad was the Newfoundland next door. While I shed and drool (I’m what they call a "profuse drooler"), I am incredibly cute and affectionate. Pat Kennedy is my human. She actually adopted me to get a house sold (Yes, I used to live in one of her listings, and I did not convey).
Pat isn’t home right now. Pat is never home. She’s out with some client showing a house. She’s always out with some client. I want to be a client!!!!
I am home. I’m always home. She leaves me here with a couple of goofy cats, and yes, one of them used to live in one of her listings. Today, she came through the front door at about 4 in the afternoon. I wagged my tail in a 360 degree circle that anyone else would find totally irresitable. I figured she would take me on one of those mile walks in Rock Creek Park. But no. She gave me a big hug and let me out into the back yard. Five minutes later, she let me back in then ran back out to meet yet another client. How Type-A.
Sometimes, she even brings clients home. I bark, jump on them, hump their legs and drool. No matter how lovable I act, they don’t take me with them to look at houses.
When Pat gets home tonight, probably way after dark, she’ll try to make it up. She does feed me well. If she is feeling really guilty, she gives me steak. But that’s kind of like chocolates on Valentine’s day! It’s so hard on my waist line!
OK – here comes the mailman. I have to sign off and do my Lord of the Mail Slot thing. But before I do, if there are any other real estate orphan dogs out there checking out blogs while their humans are off selling houses, comment soon before she finds this and changes her password on me!

Woof, woof, Sparky,
You are much more interesting than Pat the human on this blog!
How about we meet out by the fire hydrant some day?
Bowzer the boxer
Hey Sparky,
My humans take me to a beach most days. If you can come along on a book tour, we’ll chase sticks and wade together. That is, if you like rain.
