It all worked out! My Hobart Street bidding war veterans found an amazing place a few blocks away. It’s a full floor bigger and totally renovated. The kitchen, state-of-the-art, complete with a talking fridge, pasta pot faucet over the very macho stove, and a radiant heating system for the stone floors that is actually on a timer! The rest of the house is equally amazing.

More important – no bidding war! They got it for just a bit more than the Hobart frenzy.

Alas, no gargoyle in the garden.
